We have Blacks Dots on our render, same in the prewiew ?
Is it a bug or a scene problem ?
Thanks in advance

Nowhere enough data to diagnose that problem. We need images, material settings, etc.

Wow, long time since we've seen anything with that - gotta be something in the scene. Can you send it to us? PM me with a link.

Hi tanguy,
You can send the link to
techdesk@nextlimit.com and we will take a look immediately to see if there is something wrong with the scene or there is a problem in maxwell.
Many thanks,
Juan

I get the same dots rendering standard material test scene with dielectric materials. The dots in the preview are black and red in the render window.

The dots are ONLY present if there are dielectric materials in the scene.

Sorry to jump in here but i have a hard time understanding how all the betatesters could have missed these black dots in the renderings. Unless the build we're using differs from the internal one and these problems only occured after the final compilation was done..

I posted this in the wrong thread: I try here for bettwer results

---------------------
I notice that I have big problems with AGS also on PC.
It's totally black!!
Removing it rendering is fine and light transmission also, but there is no glass!
What kind of glass can I use instead of AGS?
--------------------
I use WinXPPRO32bit
Is something related with AGS and Dielectrics?
Thank you, Gio

tanguy,
you sure you didn't accidentally install the alpha instead?
or... are you posting renders from those days to get the NL guys running in circles.
(joking)
hehe funny ya?
well... ok... maybe not.
Just an idea!

Let's all try to render a "Standart material test" scene with some "wizard-generated" Dielectric, and see if all of us have this black/red dots trouble!
This can help NL people understand the problem.
