1.1 Crashes when "Unlocking" Locked textures

I work in studio with geometry imported from sketchup via fbx
This workflow is effective except for one thing
When the geometry comes in the UV maps are "locked"
I basically need to open the projectors and change the field from locked to another mapping.
When I do this however, Maxwell crashes more often than not. As a workaround sometimes I can get away with hiding all of the objects except for the one that I am remapping. Sometimes this too leads to a crash
