camera Motion blur is ignored

When exporting a frame(s) set with motion blur ON the blur due to camera movment is not rendered at all.

did you ever sort out the motion blur thing? I'm on 1.1 and no motion blur seems to render. I have tried both image and object motion blur on the object properties. no joy. Can anyone help?
