Maxwell Render | Official public forum

Hi!

I just got my maxwell plug in for Form Z.

I wanted to try it out and so I used a model that I had just rendered with FormZ.

After applying Maxwell materials, I tried rendering and the first two times or so I saw the line: Render failed:-( in Maxwell.

Afterwards, it would crash when I press the render button.

Now I removed layer by layer and tried rendering. I noticed that when the desks (which incidentally is the only shader with a color map) are removed, it starts to render.

Do you know what's causing this or what I am doing wrong?

Macintosh G5-2Ghz, 2MB ram.

Okay, I went back to the color map. Made sure it was a Jpeg and RGB. Still didin't work. Then I saved it again but this time I un-clicked the embedded profile option.

One map worked, the other didn't (The other being the basket weave supplied in the textures of FZ saved as a JPEG).
