Texture Maps (Decals) not centered on object.

I can't figure out how to center a texture map or decal in Maxwell. Maybe this is not supported yet. It centers in the Form•Z materials dialog an prewiew but when rendered in Maxwell there are 4 images instead of one. A very impressive beta release. Great work NL.D

PS: How do I attach a rendering of WIP[/img]

hello tcamco,

Next week I will investigate your issue. Internally Maxwell needs to convert the formZ texture coordinates to UV coordinates, perhapsit explains your issue.

if you want to attach an image to your message you have to use the img tags like this:
Code: Select all

this is because maxwell does not read the option "centered" in the texture map decal option settings. so if this is checked Maxwell does not recognize it and places the texture as if this option is unchecked as far as i found out.
not only decals are effected. normal texture mapping is also not "centered".

Hello Michael,

Theorically Maxwell does not need to read this option, the internal routine is different. Anyway we are looking to this issues and we will fix all of them.
Thanks a lot for your reports.
