New version plugin installation

I recently installed a new hard drive in my laptop, and freshly installed formZ 6.1.2, Maxwell 1.7.1, and the latest MaxwellZ plugin. I ran MXST and licensed it. I also ran each of the other Maxwell apps (MXCL, etc).
I put the MaxwellZ folder in the formZ plugins folder like I always have...
For whatever reason, the Maxwell plugin does not show up in formZ, although at launch I see the word Maxwell flash by quickly as the app zips through recognizing its plugins and extensions...
Any ideas?

sorry to be obvious: maybe it is deactivated in the extensions manager - or by chance you put the wrong OS versions (windows/osx) plugin into the folder? did you try to re-download and re-install the plugin, anyway?

It's not deactivated in the extensions manager... in fact, its not even there. My suspicion is that the latest version of the plugin is not backward compatible with FZ 6.1. This happened with the last release as well (but on windows) and Juan posted a new version to fix the problem.
I did, in fact, already go re-download the file from the NL site, but it didn't work.
Thanks for the ideas.

Matt,
Did you try this solution presented by FormZ tech?
