You have 2 options:

1. use formZ lights
- point and custom lights are converted to Maxwell lights if "Export formZ lights" option is checked in Lights tab of Maxwell options
- you need to control the light intensity - typically you will do this in Maxwell Studio.

2. use Maxwell emitter material
- create geometry for lights
- create light emitting Maxwell surface style - map formZ style and create emitting material in MXED
- Note that there are presets for different lamps in MXED - this will give you correct lighting as long as you model in correct units.
- assign surface style to light object

Hope this helps.
