This is happening on my PC. I haven't tried this on my Mac...
Within Surface Style Parameters:
1. Click "Map Style".
2. Specify any file name and location.
3. Click "Edit" from the same Surface Style Parameters window.
4. Now two MXM's are open for the same material.
I think what's going on is that clicking Map Style is automatically launching MXED. Then when I click Edit, it's launching it again. Clicking Map Style shouldn't launch MXED, should it?
