I've been waiting quite long until I finally installed Maxwell, including the new FormZ plugin. Well, maybe I should have waited a little longer...

When assigning a predefined mxm material to a FormZ surface style, FormZ crashes in allmost ALL cases. Until now I only got the "carpaints vol i" NOT to crash FormZ. The crash seems to happen when the FormZ surface style dialog tries to display a preview... which it doesn't, actually, all previews (even with working mxm files) are pure black.

My system: MacPro 3.0, OS X 10.4.8

Yes, that's a known bug that only happens on osx intel, we will update the plug-in shortly to solve this and other bugs found. The only way to avoid it right now is opening FormZ with Rosetta as if it were a PPC application. You can do that with the "Get Info" dialog.
