FormZ 6.0 + Maxwell

Hi Juan,
Now that formZ 6.0 is out, I am wondering if you have a roadmap for an update. You said earlier, that you can address some problems between formZ + maxwell only after 6.0 (e.g. the black triangles etc.).

Hi Uki,
We are working in updating formZ 5.5 plugin and in 6.0 at the same time. The development is running fine and the integration will be so much better. It is soon to announce a release date, but we expect to release it late this summer.

Thanks for the update Juan.
So far I am very pleased with formZ and Maxwell. Annoying is only the texture size translation and the black triangles and the maximisation of Maxwell in memory, power consumption and length of render.
Maxwelll 1.1 and formZ 6.0.0?

Hi Juan,
Great news regarding the release of Maxwell 1.1! I did noticed on the download page that the formZ plugin for Windows and Mac has a formZ 5.5. designation. So, will new Maxwell 1.1 formZ plugin also run on formZ 6.0.0? Thanks and the new features of Maxwell 1.1. really look exciting! Dan

Hi Dan and all,
The development of the 6.0 plugin is running fine but there are a couple of issues that need to be solved before the release. The plugin is sooooo much better anyway and I am sure you will love it.

The development is running fine, althought there are a couple of issues that we need to solve before the release. We are working with Autodesys team and probably we could release the plugin with the next patch of FormZ (6.1).
I have to think that the official 6.1 patch will be released soon. There doesn't appear to be too many issues with the beta version.
