Render Failed.

Sometimes if an object in form z does not have a Maxwell Material assigned to it, the render ends as a "render failed". Then I have to apply a Maxwell Material to that object. Well, if you have hundreds of thousands of objects and need to apply M Materials to all of them, is there an easy way to do this within Form Z? Or do you have to tediously click on every object and inspect its attributes?

Hello a27,
this is not necessary, maxwell automatically applyes a material to all the objects that hasn't one. could you ulpload a scene ( as simple as possible ) that reproduces this behavior?
Thank you a lot!
Juan
by the way the bug with textures in the mac version has been fixed. Also recently Markus Groeteke has come into the testers team to help mac and formZ plugin to achieve the best quality.

Juan,
Thanks for the info on OSX / MaxwellZ
Any chance we could get our hands on an updated plugin with fixed textures in the near future? This would probably be enough for me to start using Maxwell for production work.
Cheers,
Nik

Juan,
This is the exact error message I am getting:
Error: UVW channels (0) on object "Object X" no enough for material "Material_X"
X denotes a variable that changes per attempted rendering.

Hi a27,
It means that this object has not texture coordinates. You can create them into formZ with the texturing tool or also you can do the same into studio creating a projector.
Nik, next week there will be (good) news
Regards,
Juan
