See render update faster

Hi there;

I wish I could see the render updates faster than now, I don't know why the render updates every 10 minutes or more and not 10 seconds or less, Is there any reason why Maxwell renders that way?.

Thank's in advance.

I believe that they stated that it'll be that way in the final release but they are adding a button "update now" so you can check on it whenever you like.

Probably.. but faster incremental updates would most likely slowdown the rendering as the system would have to put more power into updating all the time. I think it's good enough as it is now when it's 10-15 min between each one.

Maximus looks right : actually, every preview update made, the mxs and output bitmap are updated. I dont know about the RC or final, but if it's the same, updating preview each 10 seconds will result that the computer will be permanently updating files instead of rendering !

Although I think the "10 seconds" update is the best for me, a "update-on-demand" button seems the best in terms of render speed, I like that, Where did you read that?

Thank's
