For the Maxwell V1 3D-workspace

If my understanding is correct, Maxwell V1 will come with its own 3D workspace for all texture-related work and maybe scene setup.
Propably most of us would prefer, that Maxwell could do this inside the host programs...
But as we want to get the best out of it - we'll of course °all° use this 3D workspace.
and switch back and forth between Maxwell and the host.
To make this step a little easier, it would be nice, if the very basic things wouldn't differ from the respective modeling program.
My idea is to have the viewport controls configurable.
If zoom orbit and pan could work the way the do in work like in Maya, C4D, Rhino, what have you - that gave an immediate feel of being at home.
Nevercenter Silo, a slick little SDS-modeller is a nice example. The user can map virtually any of the program-functions to the mouse-buttons.
See attached.
