Warning while MXCL writes image file???

Would it be possible to add some kind of warning while the image file is being rewritten at the end of a sample cycle??
This morning I terminated a render that had been running on a friend's machine over the weekend (Using dist. rend). Problem is that I happened to do it while the image file was being rewritten, something that I only realised later.
Any way. would be nice if during the image writing there were some kind of clue to that in the interface (maybe there is but not clear enough), something like "WRITING IMAGE FILE, PLEASE DON'T EXIT SESSION NOW!"
Thanks
Stefano
