Studiotools is the hig end modeling package from alias.

StudioTools Plugin?

Now that Alias is now owned by AutoDesk does it seem that plugins will be easier to create? If so, does/can/will Maxwell plan on creating one for StudioTools? ImageStudio is just not robust enough and raytracing through Studiotools is getting a bit dated.

Please consider

Right now this acquisition doesn't change the existing tools. => From one day to the other. Let's see what the future brings.

NL will certainly keep watching the market for best plug-in solutions.

StudioTools is a very powerful high end modeler in the product and automotive design industry, I've been using it for many years. It would be fantastic if we can have a plug in for StudioTools!!!!!

Until that day happens you could just export your models from StudioTools into Maxwell's new standalone interface and render them there :) as long as you export in a compatible format that is..
