I have to use 10.5!
Whenever I ask in the company for an update (we are justr 3 drawing people, so it shouldn't be the problem tt buy the update) I'm told I should look if I cannot download it somewhere. ...
So I don't have the new version. I hate the BIG file sizes that VW is producing, but I know they are a lot less in the new version ....

Hey guys,
I had heard of vectorworks, but never checked it out. I went to the web site and watched the demo reels and its an interesting program, it looks like you can do a little bit of everything, CAD, Sketchup-like modeling (nowhere near as easy, but ok), nurbs modeling, BIM, sketch render, etc.
I have a few questions:
1) Is a demo version available somewhere? I didn't see it on the website.
2) How much does it cost?
3) Can you export 3ds? (So I can use max and maxwell since there is no VW plugin)
4) Are all the add-on expensive too?
I have to say, my interest is sparked.
Thanks,
deesee

There will be a demo.
Exports 3ds.
And a lot of powerfull features.
The price: I don't know yet. But compared to other CAD it's not expensive.
PD:
