Re:maxwell and maya procedural textures

I would be able to use mayas procedural textures, maybe it will already be implemented with the upcoming advanced material editor, just thought I'd mention it :D

I agree.

As a workaround for a current Alpha 1.1.10 release, I used "test render" to convert Maya procedural texture to a file texture.

Also NURBS support would be a definetely a plus (presuming Maya's render tessellation will be accurately brought over to maxwell, but maybe it is hard to implement as in the case of Mental Ray for Maya had similar tessellation problem at its initial integration in V4.5, V5.0)...

Oops.. I meant "test texture" function in Hypershade ... accessible via RMB marking menu above the procedural texture icon.
