Any features you'd like to see implemented into Maxwell?

Due to the increase of pirates, hackers and some other annoying people in this forum, I think this is a must. URGENT!!!

Non-maxwell owners will have read-only access to gallery and the 3 first posts of each section only.

We understand this. It's a logistic problem as it should be made manually now. We will think about a solution soon.

Good idea.
I am weary of the imbecility so evident here on the forum.
Most forum members come here to learn and compare notes
on the renderer. It's an imposition to have to wade through
the simple-minded crap to get to the real useful information.

Yes, great idea. Keep potential customers from informing themselves about the engine.
I will probably buy Maxwell if an XSI plugin is being released and I wouldn't be too happy about getting practically shut out of the forum in the meantime.

Read only access is fine but a restriction to 3 posts per section is not.

It would probably be better if NL ran two separate forums (such as been suggested before), one closed internal one for those who are actually real registered users of Maxwell and one public forum for everyone else. And as i assume there will eventually be a trial/demoversion of Maxwell then a public forum would be very much useful to give support for that one aswell.

maybe vray's forum is a good example, where all topics are reserved for registered license owners, with only one topic reserved for the public...that way its still open to the public but the main topics can be free of some of the problems that are happening now...

...plus maybe banned forum members or pissed off forum members are making alot of id's and trying to wreak havoc on the forum on purpose...

...so it would be better to keep them out or at least contained in only one public topic...

Chris_TC is right, read only access can't harm. Plus one section could be open so that would-be customers can ask questions to the community. Still, it's a pity to restrict the access because of a few individuals, even if recently, I acknowledge that I had wished more than once that the forum would not have been open to everyone.

Because it will stop a lot of useless posts in the forum and bring a little order.
Plus if anyone wants help at least you know they bothered reading the manual before asking the most basic questions over and over again.
