While trying to help Mesh with a render, it occured to me that some simple features could make file sharing easier. I'm sure things are planned for the october release, but it can't do harm to ask.
- relative paths for mxs, bitmaps, mxi, output... Just set a content directory for your scene, organise the sub directories as it suits you, and, if you need to give your scene with someone, you just have to zip the directory et voilĂ .
- dialog box popup for missing bitmaps
- ability to change the target level/rendertime after the rendering as started

as long as bitmaps path goes there's a command line to do that: -b: (if 0 maxwell will render with no maps). for all the others (mxs, mxi, output), you can already specify a custom path.

actually changing target level and time is something that, when rendering with -mxi:w and -mxi:c, can already be done.
