Hi all! I'm a LightWave-M~R plug-in user, as well as someone who has done photography and filmmaking. For kicks I tossed together a quick photoshop combining of the all the camera features into one (ideal) tab and thought I'd share it here. Perhaps it will inspire an idea or two, or perhaps what is already in the works for 1.0 will blow this out of the water. So, here 'tis...




One goal was to put things in order of average usage as far as changing the settings go. Also, I am a big fan of boxes going grayed out when the settings they offered are over-ridden by another's activation. The "SCENE" thing ahead is for when these settings are being varied in an scene/animation ("Follow focus with Target1" "Envelope f-stop" etc.)



I personally believe that the resolution should be in a "Render Output settings" tab area rather than with the camera. (Other things for a render output tab would of course be separate alpha and color channel output, frame masking, all the file naming and file format picking stuff and maybe a 3D process or two to pick from. )

I'm open to suggestions, although since this is all made-up and will likely have little-to-no bearing on what the final rea M~R settings areas will be like, it's probably not a great expendeture of time fine-tuning this (although I found putting it together a bit fun ).
