I'm a modo user... and yes, I join with the others requesting modo201 support!
Thanks!

same, as i'm planning to buy it, and the last thing that would decide me is Maxwell for Modo
(though we can use LW for the rendering)

I might buy a license... but shhhhtttttt, my wallet is listening...

I think it is not needed anymore, because Modo, as far as I know saves LWO, and Maxwell 1.0 will accept the LWO files natively.... he he... good news no...?
I am testing Modo too right now...so great..!. so simple coming from LW... almost all hot keys are the same...

nope they wont, because the people that make Modo are real artists too...Brad Peebler is a real artist, and likes a simple efficient approach Vs. cad hype....

Didn't know that. Well, then a modo plugin might make sense. Very neat modelling application. Very decent people at Luxology, too : the licence agreement is worth reading, for once, and forum policies is very user friendly. I'm glad I grabed a licence while there was this offer for LW users.

LWO is lightwave file, i would still like to see them support Modo 201 file format in the future(animation future

)
Modo 201 = .LXO (plus can import export lwo)
Glad your liking Modo

, now buy a copy in the future!
hmmm, but are you talking about the object file format... or their future scene format...? because Maxwell won't import scene files from LW anyway...
yes I plan on buying it... only if I can still export LWO (you said it will be the case ... so), but I guess exporting instead of saving .lxo, you'll maybe loose some features... so I dunno... we'll see...
