Anyways it all sounds good, i'm sure these good stuff will work well and jolly good old Lightscape can once and for all be buried with the rest of the really old timers amongst renderengines.

Yes, Maxwell will provide lighting analysis tool, it's one of the main design features.

...I am just a simple beta tester guys...and a Maxwell reseller but I can not provide more info about that issue..
I guess Victor, Oscar, etc have to share these things here / public.

Where does daylight fit into the analysis? Will daylight factor be calculated and is there a possibility that interaction between daylight and electric light can be simulated; i.e. dimming / stepping lights in response to daylight levels?
