Save file locations

Sorry if this has already been asked...
It would be nice if the file "save" locations could be saved. Having to enter the folder locations each time one re-renders older scenes can be a drag...

I just lost yet ANOTHER 10 hour render by accidentally hitting the render button without changing the filename. PLEASE this file saving issue needs to be taken care of... I too am tired of having to root through many folders every time I launch maxwell... it should just default to the last known location... like most apps.
The overwrite thing? what's wrong with having a little checkbox... "auto increment" every file saved to the same location with the same name automatically has _v001, _v002, etc added... I mean, with 200GB Hard drives running at $100US is it really required to overwrite the same file every render? I also REALLY like keeping all my rendertests, it's educational, and to do so now requires constant renaming and often I just plain forget, and usually that means loosing several hours of rendertime.
PLEEEEEZE? PRETTY PLEASE?

Yep, I agree. Overwriting a file which rendered for ages is totally annoying. A simple "Do you want to overwrite ..." dialogue box would help making life much easier
