Maxwell Eye-Camera

Hi,
I was wonderting if in the future in addition to changing the lens on the camera, to also add a "eyeball" camera, that would have a wide angle to include peripheral vision, no shutters, maybe even a rods/cones render filter to simulate different animals?
It would not just be a cool camera, but could have a future in VR applications as well.
Any thoughts?

and why not a "real eye" camera ?

i mean : maxwell reproduces real live behaviors (cameras, sun, dielectrics etc...)... why not reproduce human eye features as a camera ?

That's really what i meant.
Upon reading in the SDK section they mentioned much of the camera is built directly into maxwell internals, and to change the lens you only can put another lens infront of the camera to simulate a different lens. So a real full fledged Eyeball Camera might not become possible without an alternative camera/engine.
But if your going to add another engine, why not try for an eyeball camera, and get rid of camera bias :D
Stereo imaging with adjustible spacing between the eyes would also be good for this purpose.
