MXS Reference files - add outline to improve visability

We're using Maxwell Studio's Import MXS Reference files a lot more to bring custom-made assets into a master file but often find it difficult to clearly see the reference file which appears more like a point cloud arrangement of dots. Is there a way to increase the density of the dots so the model is more easily seen? Alternatively, consider an outline display to the MXS model when the mouse is passed over it or it is selected. Sample screen shot below-

I agree, this would be a very useful change. Whilst I mainly use SketchUp and the references there are represented by transparent red bounding boxes (A real pain to position!), even being able to assign a different colour to the point cloud references in studio would be nice. The light grey is not very contrasting in a lot of cases.

I took a quick look in Studio, I don't think there is currently a way to change the point cloud colours?

Hi CDRDA,

Thanks for checking on this. I haven't found anything to either change the colours or density of the dots/point cloud reference file either. Hopefully this, or adding an outline highlight, can get added to a future Update for Maxwell :-)

Actually, on further thought, there should be no reason why a selected Reference object can't be displayed in full and show all entities whilst it's being moved/rotated/scaled/positioned etc. then revert back to the dots when released....keep it simple.
