Sample level vs Time constraint

How about the option to render to a pre-determined sample rate, as opposed to the existing time constraint?

I'm thinking more along the lines for animators. For example, if one part of the scene is simple, it will reach a much higher sample rate than a part that is much more complicated. You'd end up with different levels of quality throughout a sequence. If you could set for a specific sample level, you'd know you would be getting consistant quality throughout the sequence.

I do very much like being able to set a shot to render for a specific amount of time. However, having this section option available would improve the pipeline for animation sequences.

You already can :)

set time to 9999 and sl to 8 for example.

Maxwell will stop when either time OR sl is reached.
