Transparent shadow background

Transparent shadow background as shown in the image below would be a welcome addition and time saver.
This would be particularly useful for product shots where it's common ta save PNG with transparent shadows as a final result.
INDIGO seems to be providing this straight from the box http://www.indigorenderer.com/documenta ... s-tutorial and so seems MODO.
