Here it goes:
--RENDERING--
1. Tiled Tiff (.tx) and tiled OpenEXR support.
2. Rounded corners shader.
3. RGBA custom alphas (4 masks per image: rgba)
4. Triplanar Mapping
5. Animation Support in MXS files. One MXS per frame is a huge bottleneck.
6. Frame Sequence when using Extra Sampling with a bitmap so you can render them with animations
--INSTALLATION--
1. No need for env variable MAXWELL_3_ROOT -> look in path where app is started if variable is not present
2. No need for license file on local disc -> look for license file in path where app is started
-- WORKFLOW--
1. Better MXI Batch processing
- apply multiple emixer files, one after the other
- batch rename output files with variables (MXINAME_EMIXERNAME_TOKEN...)
--MAYA SPECIFIC--
Should I post these in the Maya forum?
1. Procedural support within Maya.
2. Color management support.
3. Material Viewer support.
4. Better Custom Alpha system (using standard maya attributes). Support for renaming, deleting etc...
5. Install plugin in network location and load it via Maya.env or .bat (look at how Arnold or VRay are doing it).
6. XGen support. Long overdue.
