It would be nice to have an option to set an SL limit on custom alphas. Then, they could stop saving to disk when the desired SL is reached. I have noticed that most alphas look good around 10 SL. So no need to keep rendering along and saving with the rest of the image.
And I am not talking about extra sampling. I am talking about rendering a bunch of custom alphas with the initial main rendering.
