HairFarm - Thickness Map

I wish for an ability to use texture map to control the thickness of the hairstaws that is generated by Hairfarm, a Plugin for 3Ds max.

I don't know the tech behind maxwell, and how it calculates this. But it doesn't hurt to add it as a wish :)

Thanks

Hehe you measured em all! :D

But ye its true, most human hair is basically same thickness.
I tend to use Hairfarm for more then just human hair. For instance chicken feathers. And the feathers tend to get scaled/thickness smaller towards the head, and bigger down around the body.

asking about that issue on the Hairfarm forum, they all say. "Hey, just use a black and white map to controll the thickness, gradient it from bright to dark"... and i'm like ".....yeeee......if it was just that easy :D"

Cheers
