Automatic to scale the value of rgb colour to 220

Why can you not make a new pick colour system to automatic to scale rgb colour form 1-255 to 1-220, because Maxwell render to warm people don't use 255 value? It new pick colour system is a easy for user to pick the actually colour on the eyes, and no error for Maxwell render. I think that is a small tool to make easy, thx!
