Backwards compatible material wizard

I really like the new material wizard and how it enables extra control over material properties (e.g scale). The problem is I like to know what is actually going on as well, so sometimes I convert to advanced and in turn lose the wizard options.
It would be great if I could switch back and forth between wizard and advanced material (assuming one bdsf). Even better, I could use wizard control to convert scale etc on old or manually made materials.
Thanks!

material wizard give only 9 types of materials if you convert one to advanced and modify it ; you can not convert it to wizard ; in this case you are created new material
if you create 100 materials ; how many material wizard you need ? :D
but if you want only switch between advanced and wizard ; simply click on global properties and choose the type of material again but you will lose all modifications

Yep, the issue is that you can convert anything you do in wizard to advanced, but you can make changes in advanced that might not fit into any wizard type. You can use the wizards to learn what happens in advanced; for example if you divide by 2 the scale in Translucent > Silicon gel it divides attenuation distance by 2 and doubles sss Coef.

You can consider the wizard as guide.

I understand the issue and why it is not possible but it would definitely be nice to have some of the tools from the wizard that scale various parameters proportionally, rather than having to adjust many parameters simple to adjust the material 'scale'
