I'm glad to have spotlights in Maxwell finally. However, I am finding that aiming them correctly is a time consuming effort of trial and error. I would like to see Maxwell incorporate a "View from Spotlight" such as Newtek's Lightwave which I used for many years. In LW you can set the viewport to view through the spotlight and adjust the aiming and the cone angle/falloff from that view. LW uses markers(circles) to show the outermost extents of the cone, as well as the falloff area. It is a very quick and efficient way to setup spotlights and you know exactly where the cone is going to hit your object and where the falloff will occur.
I would very much like to see a tool like this in Maxwell Studio.
