attributing a self-defined scale to a Maxwell material

Normally this is done while mapping in the application using Maxwell.
But sometimes there exists a default dimension (which could be overriden) of materials.
This goes with most architectural materials like bricks or tiles or wood. It would be optimal to be able to attach such a dimension tag to a material at the moment of its creation in MXED or in a spare moment, as one is still aware of the dimensions of the texture used. It is odd to calculate each time when mapping anew, with each visualisation, how big a material map realistically ought to be.
