Your new one, while using less space for the top bars, doesn't allow to display more than one panel at a time (you are suggesting to use tabs, right?)

yes only move the name like tabs ( like rhino and blender ) ; nothing changed

And why are those tabs better?

when you move your hand vertically to edit uv channels or extensions ... you need more time more clicks ; more movement than when move the cursor horizontaly

And what happens to those who are not using mouse at all ? Lot's of people are using tablets .. instead of mouse .. say .. some one .. like .. me .. for instance

I suggest to use "siri" type of panel reveal .. so whenever you need your Coordinates .. you just have to talk with you comp .. or sadly whisper .. UV sets … I bet it will save a lot of screen space .. not sure about the time .. but could be fun
