Vertex Color Material

It would be very useful (to me) to have a way of using vertex colors to drive the color of a material.

For example, in a large crowd scene with many small lo-res characters it would save on memory considerably to not have texture maps but still allow for many variations.

Large crowd scenes in Maxwell!
