Hello choo-chee,
It is strange, but we've never heard any bad opinion out Maxwell's icons or general look and feel.
Which in particular do you think need re-shaping? and why?
Thanks for your opinion.

Maxwell interface is completely customizable. You can change the colors of your intereface palette under preferences and also freely change the icon images under the following path: %MAXWELL2_ROOT%\images\
It will take some of your time but you will finally have the look you are after. Good deal, isn't it?

I think he talks about desktop icons; I find them just ok. The dot with the 2 pieces of wave from Maxwell logo. Maybe they could be more classy.

Please spend lots of time on icons. Suspend work on all important features, please.

oh I just meant the square icons of the application itself.
When you compare it to something like the app icons of maya, max, blender etc. they look really out of date.
The in-app icons are great !

While I don't show any of the Maxwell icons on Desktop or anywhere else and therefore personally don't care too much...
The application icons without any question could be greatly better. Apart from questionable value of its graphic as a symbol for the product one thus far
has to memorize their colour scheme as sole identifier for the associated sub-application. On rarely used items I always need their tooltip - that's not the idea of icons.
Of course it wouldn't hurt if a graphically talented intern spent lots and lots of time on redoing these.
