I would love to be able to manage intersecting geometry at rendertime (say a liquid with a glass) such that I would not have to chop out parts of the glass with the liquid or try to shrinkwrap the liquid mesh to contact the glass mesh but rather, I would like to be able to simply intersect glass with liquid and define a priority for the materials so that I could know which one would "win".

Similar to the description of how it's handled in iray or similar to the description in the paper below.
