smart release node for animations!

1- How about a release node that could be released after finishing the current frame on a network animation rendering? This way we could get out of a animation rendering safely!
2- How about the possibility to resume a frame on a network connection after it had been released?

With these options we could "get in" and "get out" of network rendering animations easily and safely! This way we could use our workstations on the network... I could lunch and make it join the network, or I could remove it in the morning as I get to the office without the need to re-render frames!!!!!!

Cheers!

Just select the node you want to add/release from the node list, then click the corresponding button. Is that what you are looking for?

OK, I just re-read your idea. You want it to release the node after the frame is finished, not stop it and create an unfinished frame. Well the, I'll +1 it.

Exactly Bubbaloo! Nowadays how do you get out of an animation rendering without having to re-render that frame again, until the wish is full filled? :)
