Starting a render without stopping Fire

I work with quite a big mxs in Studio at the moment. Fire takes up to 5 min to get started. Every time a find a good angle and start a rendering, Fire stops and I have to wait the 5 min again.

Couldn't there be a choice in preferences how Fire reacts when a render is started?
