a quick Patch please

Hi Developers,
while 2.6 is awesome, my (pretesselated) Displacement Workflow suffers badly from the reported
"Already pretesselated gets tesselated again Bug".
While I use several workarounds this regularly leads to bad Out of Memory Crashes and decreased general Computer-Stability.
Could we please get a Patch adressing that Issue soon?
