Drop textures on the texture button

Very simple request but would speed up the workflow a bit:
In the material editor: I would like to be able to drop textures directly onto the texture button (from windows explorer to MXED), instead of first having to open the texture window and drop my textures in there.
It's nothing big but would help me speed up things.
