Half res to full res render resume

Having the ability to render half res and then send those back (resume) to the farm to go full res would be a great feature.
For example we do a lot of low res 512x288 renders for approvals and progress but then having the ability to send those back to resume and go up to 1024x576 or even 1920x1080 for finals.
Cheers,
Bryan

You can't "resume", but you can just re-send the mxs to the network and change the resolution through the network wizard.

Yea that's our workflow at the moment. Some frames at that size will already have 10mins of rendering within them so instead of re-calculating the image again would be nice to keep moving forward... just throwing it out there as wishful thinking

I don't think that works. Think of using two cameras, one with 1000 x 1000 resolution, and the other with 2000 x 2000. What would you expect to end up with if you tried to combine two pictures, one taken with the first, and the other with the second? Now, consider if the first camera had a resolution of 2 x 2.
