temp file path for manager [merging]

when i merge coop-renders manually i read from one disk and write to another.
this seems to give better speed than the automatic merge done by the manager using only one hdd, especially on files 1gb+.
maybe there could be an option for a separate mxi output path other than the normal temp directory?
