More useful GPS Sun positioner in Studio

I rather miss the little globe view sun positioner from v1.x. It had it's own issues, being fairly unintuitive, but in v2 it jumps all over the place making it pretty much worthless so far as I can tell. I think my preference would be to get rid of the current world icon altogether and see a more intuitive method where you could more easily place the sun where you want it in your scene for those times when you don't care about your actual GPS location and time of day, etc.

1.x was 'perfect' for me - you could set it with digits or you could just drag that sun at any position you want. But I never got used to 2.x GPS system and I REALLY hate that sun jumping all over the place whenever I try to move it - what was the point of that change anyway???

Your right brodes! I raised this once before as I figured it was broken in v2 though was informed it was intended functionality.
It's general purpose now seems lost - why be able to turn the glode when it just seems set to the lats and longs!
