Object measurement tools in Studio

It could be nice and useful to have a boundingbox with measurements along it's X, Y and Z axis so you could get a rough estimation of the scale of a model, and a tapemeasure tool which you could use to measure the scale of certain parts of a object in Studio to get them to correct scale, you can also use it to measure the size of textures you view in realtime in the viewport. It would be helpful to have these things so we could make sure we actually work at the correct 1:1 scale all the time and take the guessing out of the game.

that would be very useful for me too!

Agreed. My workaround is to pick a focal distance which will tell you the distance from the camera to the point you pick. That's useful in some cases but sometimes it'd be nice to just be able to say, check the height of a person to make sure they're not 6" off either way.

Well, technically it will never tell you that. It will tell you .1524 meters though.

Which leads me to wish #2...

Me too!

I would also like both the ability to measure objects directly in Maxwell -- imported OBJs from Zbrush come in at all odd sizes and have to be scaled by guess-timation.
Imperial units in Maxwell is something that I am deeply lustful for
Best,
Jason.

Definitely would like a way to measure objects, but I really want a way to choose the unit of measurement for my scene. Give me a complete set of units to choose from. Working in meters just doesn't cut it.

Metricate!
When I'm lost with object size I just add a cube, knowing is 1x1x1 m... (well, not really a scientific approach!)
