Diffraction below 1,000

below 1 diffraction can be controlled to all decimals.. like 1,001
however values below 1 are not possible.
i am currently dealing with a scene including .ies/.ldt files, and the glare they produce even at diffraction 1 is very intense.
lowering the multilight intensity helps, but the rendering will get too dark.
it'd be great to control the effect completly!
thnx,
Daniel

only a workaround, not a solution:
you could save one out without refraction and one with refraction and then combine in ps?

yep! for now that's a way... blending luminosity should work quite well.
cheers,

It happened to me too that diffraction=1 looked too strong.

Ohhhhh... the Simulens setting...

hehe I was thinking material editor for some reason. Carry on.
