Optimize bounce tool

Not too sure if this is possible - but, as increasing the bounces also increases rendering times then it may be possible to optimize the number of bounces selected so you use the absolute minimum required - you could do this by manually selecting an area of the render area where to you think the most bounces are needed - maxwell then renders the area and calculates the most number of bounces the ray took to get to the pixels in the area - this could then be used as a basis for the whole scene.

Obviously the user would have to select the area [ for example choosing an area that shows multiple reflections [ the results of lots of bounces ].

Hope this makes sense.

Hmm, what is, if Maxwell test a ray, how much energy has the ray and if it is lower than an defined custom value, than it stop to bounce the ray again. I have the feeling, most we use more bounce as we can see with the eyes.
