MXI BATCH PROCESSING

this is not the first time people ask for this, but i think time is right to ask for it once again:

we need to edit/convert mxi/mxi-ML files in batch.

this is not just for animations...

I encountered this limitation producing a furniture catalog catalogue, where i wanted to show variations ( simulens etc) to the client.

I ended up not doing it,... it was enough going through opening 40 4000px mxi once, adjusting manually...this felt really stupid... most of the time passes while one is waiting for the file to open/update/save ...

I may say that i have not yet felt the need to complain about how to use maxwell, it is stable and netrender works perfectly for me.. i like it bigtime..
but finding out that the wish about mxi batch processing being urgent goes back 3.5 years is something i simply do not comprehend.

--------------------------

i am aware that this can be achived by using macro/automatization scripts (3rd party software).. but imo such a tool should be coded/provided from the NL side.

-------------------------
i now got a very basic workaround to do what i need:

I think batch processing in general would be helpful in all aspects of the program. Like when I add 200 mxs scenes to be netrendered it takes me an hour to do. It would be nice to highlight the 200 mxs files and add them all at once.
