mxi plugin for Photoshop

I have this 18 MB mxi emitter texture that is tiny in my scene so resizing it means:

- open it in mxcl
- export HDR
- open in Photoshop
- resize
- save HDR
- open in mxcl
- export mxi

it would be a lot easier if there was an mxi plugin for Photoshop to import and export HDR mxi images.

why not just a resize command in mxcl ?

or a batch flag ?

can you resize loaded mxi files in mxcl? Or are you asking me if I'd settle for that?

if there were such a command it'd be written in the manual ..

did you check ??

but the answer: no, there's no way to directly resize.

1)
i think it'd be easier for NL to develop in their natural environment (mxcl, ..) without specifically develop for other applications like PS, which by far not all users use as painting/compositing app.
so yes, i ask you if this easy way would be enough.

2)
you said it's a texture emitter, so there had to be an original texture of it ..... why didn't you just adapt the original texture ?

3)
how often would you or the average user use that command in daily work ? is it that much time to export as hdr and edit in PS .. ?

try being realistic .. it's just not worth developing a plugin for each possible necessary step just because you need it once or even ten times a week.

buying a faster coffee machine will make you much luckier ! :)
